A wine made of sunlight, for nights without any

Malbec wasn't built for the cold — quite the opposite. It's born over 1,000 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Andes, where the sun beats down hard all day and the nights drop sharply cold. That brutal swing in temperature is what gives Malbec its character: thick skins, deep colour, and a concentration of fruit no other place on earth quite matches.

And maybe that's why, poured on a cold Irish autumn evening, something curious happens: all that sunlight it soaked up over months in Mendoza comes back out, all at once, in the glass. It feels warm. It feels rich. It feels, in some strange way, like coming home — even if "home" is 11,000 kilometres from where those grapes grew.

Two different ways to feel that warmth

Luz de Noche Malbec is the one you reach for when the day ran long and you need something soft that asks nothing of you — round tannins, ripe dark fruit, a finish that lingers a little longer than you expect. It's, quite literally, the light left on when everything else has gone dark.

Monteagrelo Malbec is for nights when you want a little more structure — a wine with more weight, more depth, ideal alongside something off the grill or a slow-cooked autumn stew. It carries a more serious character that rewards a little patience before that first sip.

The small ritual that changes everything

You don't need an occasion. In fact, it's better if there isn't one.

A glass, some quiet music, maybe a blanket if the living room hasn't quite warmed up yet. Let the wine breathe for five minutes before you taste it — you'll notice how it opens up, how the fruit turns more generous as it settles toward room temperature.

It's a small ritual. But on the long nights of autumn, the small rituals are the ones that end up mattering most.
