Tasting Notes

In the glass, this Pinot Noir reveals a brilliant ruby-red colour with delicate garnet hues. The nose is fresh and expressive, offering layers of wild strawberries, red cherries, and blackcurrants, intertwined with subtle notes of earth, dried herbs, and spice.

On the palate, it delivers impressive concentration and structure, with fine-grained tannins and a crisp, natural acidity that reflect the vineyard's extreme conditions. The finish is long and mineral-driven, leaving a lasting impression of Patagonian wilderness.

Vineyard & Winemaking

Origin: Sarmiento, Chubut, Argentina
Climate: One of the coldest and most remote vineyards in the world, where strong winds and extreme temperatures result in low yields and exceptional fruit purity.
Soil: A mix of limestone, clay, and gravel, adding depth and minerality to the wine.
Vinification: Aged in French oak barrels, carefully balancing fruit intensity with delicate complexity.

Food Pairing

This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with grilled salmon, duck breast, mushroom risotto, and soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert. Its vibrant acidity and silky tannins make it a versatile companion for refined dishes and delicate flavours.

The Spirit of Patagonia

Otronia wines capture the wild, untamed essence of Patagonia, where nature dictates the rhythm of viticulture. This 2020 vintage is an exceptional representation of the region’s ability to produce world-class Pinot Noir—elegant, expressive, and full of character.
