Malbec

Malbec originally comes from the southwest French wine regions of Bordeaux and Cahors, but is now widely planted around the world. It is recognized as Argentina’s signature variety. It is a thick-skinned grape that takes well to oak, producing intensely concentrated wines. Malbec has found it's new home in the high altitude valleys of Mendoza, Argentina where the  alluvial soils and lower temperatures during the night produce longer ripening period grapes with great acidity and flavors. Our collection includes Malbec from  Rutini, Catena Zapata, Saltentein, Mendel, Zuccardi, Domaine Bousquet & more.
