This 100% Malbec represents the most unusual, elegant and expressive example of a high-altitude Malbec from Pedernal Valley. It is made with grapes from the Block No. 4 of our Firestone estate. The soil of this plot is extremely rocky, mainly of limestone and flint.
Intense violet colour with wild flowers, black fruits, blueberries and nicely integrated oak aromas. It is deep and rich, with flavours of black berries, spice, and minerals. Stunning, intense and luscious.
"The Pedernal Valley sits at 1,400m in the province of San Juan. Flinty limestone soils lend a mineral character to this dense, earthy, black-fruited wine, which has also has notes of cinnamon spice, sweet cedar, herbs and sour cherry.
