Varietal: 100% Malbec 

Vineyards: Altamira, Gualtallary and La Consulta, Mendoza.

Oak aging: 12 months. 40% new French oak and 60% 2nd use.

Winemaker: Mariano Di Paola

Winemaker Notes: Very intense red with violet tinges. Red fruits (cherry, currant) and
a touch of plum are alive in the nose in this very accomplished red. French oak imparts toasted notes, while the American barrel extends its classic vanilla. Full bodied palate yet refined, thanks to its concentrated fruit character buttressed by a tannic structure characteristic of Cahors reds.

Serving temperature: 14º-17ºC

Aging potential: 10 years


Grilled and roasted red meat, beef tenderloin with vegetables, roast lamb, meat pie and potatoes, wild rabbit Cacciatore (hunter style), chicken pie, beef empanadas.

''Bife de chorizo'' partnered with freshly grilled peppers.

Creole foods: locro, lentil stew, grilled meats, lamb, goat, after lunch next to a tablet of dark chocolate.

This wine was made to celebrate the 130 st anniversary of the winery. It's a tribute to Felipe Rutini, who founded the winery in 1885. There is not best tribute to taste it listening a classic, such as those American guys merging elegancy, professionalism and fun in 1984.
