2 Trumpeter Malbec 2023
100 % Malbec from the Uco Valley, Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu. 7 months oak ageing: French & American oak barrels. The winemaker plays with 1st 2nd and 3rd use barrels. The final wine is an excellent medium body malbec with lots of plum hints of chocolate, elegant tannins and lovely acidity. Drink it alone or pair with empanadas. 13% ABV Vivino: 4.0/5
2 Trumpeter Malbec-Syrah 2023
60 % Malbec, 40 % Syrah from the Uco Valley. 7 month with 2nd use American & French oak. The Syrah adds a bit of spiciness to the blend. Fruits like plum, blackberries and some spice herbal notes from the Syrah. Lovely acidity and well balanced palate. Drink it alone or pair with some Indian curry. 13% ABV Vivino: 3.9/5
2 Rutini Colección Cabernet-Malbec 2022
50 % Malbec, 50 % Cabernet Sauvignon from the Uco Valley. 12 months French oak ageing, 1st and 2nd use. The Cabernet adds some spices, like eucalyptus and wet forest floor. Lovely acidity, black fruit provided by the Malbec blended with the herbal notes of the Cab in the perfect proportions. Elegant finish. You can drink it alone, with a very nice acidity, it's easy drinking but elegant at the same time. Or you can pair with with a lovely rib eye steak and criolla sauce. 14% ABV Vivino: 4.2/5
