A lovely gem from Rutini Wines, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Rutini wines is considered one of the most prestigious wineries from Argentina. With the first winery established on 1853 by the Italian winemaker Felipe Rutini now producing high caliber wines in the new state of the art technology winery located at 1250 meters above the sea level at the Uco Valley. The head winemaker, Mariano, is working with the winery since 1994 and is considered in the top 3 Argentinian wine makers and in the top 30 winemakers in the world. (By Decanter Magazine)

Harvest: 2023

Grape: 100% Malbec from Uco Valley and Lujan de Cuyo vineyards.

Ageing: 7 months in French & American oak, mainly 2nd & 3rd use.

Alcohol: 13.7 %

Vivino: 4/5 Stars

This wine unfolds with vibrant notes of plum, black cherry, and black currant, underscored by a delicate acidity and a breath of freshness. Soft tannins make it effortlessly drinkable and exquisitely elegant. It boasts an alcohol content of 13.7%. Whether you're pairing it with traditional empanadas or sipping it solo, it's a delightful choice. It's worth noting that while the majority of the Malbec grapes hail from the Uco Valley, a fraction originates from Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo — lower altitude vineyards that infuse the wine with an added fruitiness. All in all, this wine stands as a splendid testament to Mendoza's rich terroir.

This is a great value for money offer.
