Harvest summary
We call the 2022 vintage “The Prosperous”, most successfull vintage of all since we
are producing at the estate. The region experienced favorable weather conditions throughout the growing season, which contributed to the overall quality of the grapes and the resulting wines.
The year began with a mild winter followed by a cool and dry spring, allowing for a
gradual bud break and consistent vine growth. This extended the ripening period,
allowing the grapes to develop slowly and evenly, which led to grapes with good
concentration and balance, resulting in wines with vibrant flavors and excellent
structure, exhibiting the region's signature traits: freshness, elegance, and a sense of
place.
Soil type Classic soils of the Upper Valley, of alluvial origin, with a loamy-clayey
and loamy-sandy texture.
