The 2009 vintage of Antigal ONE La Dolores Vineyard is a limited-edition Malbec. Sun-drenched days and chilly nights in Antigal’s finest and highest vineyard allowed the Malbec grapes used for this wine to ripen slowly, intensifying color and aromas. Minimal handling and cold temperature winemaking at our winery protect the integrity of the fruit.
“The finished wine has a bright color, very intense and deep; purplish red with blue tones. The aromas are very fresh with notes of maraschino cherries, exotic black fruits, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and mocha. To the palate is very balance with good structure and volume, firm and silky tannins”.
Pair it with
Intensely flavored meats such as wild boar, goat, lamb, kid, slow cooking stews, hard-paste cheeses, and defined flavors, roasted vegetables. It is also an excellent companion for good chocolate or for those who enjoy cigars.
