A CLASSIC MALBEC FROM MENDOZA

Deep red with purple hues, this Mendoza Malbec opens with aromas of ripe plums, cherries, violets, and gentle spice. evolving to hints of vanilla and smoke with air. The palate is smooth and approachable, showing red and black fruits layered with subtle chocolate and tobacco. 

Medium-bodied with velvety tannins, fresh acidity and a lingering fruity-spicy finish. A versatile wine that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta, or semi-cured cheeses.

Ageing: 10 months, 50% French and American oak and 50% stainless steel tanks.

Antigal Winery was established on the site of a historic winery in Russell, Maipú, Mendoza – Argentina, whose origin dates back to 1897. With its completed refurbishment, Antigal achieved the very best in high-tech functionality while respecting the original appearance of a historically important landmark in Mendoza, Argentina. This historic building house a state-of-the-art facility whose gravity-flow platform system allows for a largely “hands-off” approach to winemaking eliminating the need for forceful pumps and crushers.
