ZUCCARDI EXAMPLE OF CHARDONNAY FROM GUALTALLARY SELECTED LOTS

Zuccardi Q Chardonnay is sourced from select vineyard lots in Tupungato, Uco Valley (4035ft). The wine demonstrates great character and balance, offering notes of citrus, vanilla and minerality. It can be consumed now, but will age beautifully for several years. The front label image illustrates the stone walls of the Zuccardi winery rising from the Uco Valley soils symbolizing how the Andes mountains emerged millions of years ago.

Winemaking

The grapes were direct pressed. Fermented in concrete and oak barrels with indigenous yeasts. Aging “sur lie” without malolactic fermentation.

SEBASTIAN ZUCCARDI

Sebastián Zuccardi grew up in a family that had a strong visionary and innovative spirit. Since 1963, when his grandfather planted the first hectares of grapevines in Maipú, Mendoza, the Zuccardi family has not stopped growing and developing. It has become a leader in Argentine wine production. The goal, in Sebastián’s own words, is “not to strive for perfect wines, but wines that express the place, the region.”
